So here I am awake at 10 am already posting and finishing up my labs. Wow! I'm even impressed. My sister is behind me snoring away, her friend Linnea is on a little mattress on the floor, still wearing her Uggs, covered in blankets. I don't know how people can sleep past a certain time. i am so used to waking up around a certain time that unless I go out i can not pass it. And they always say" The day belongs to those who wake up early". So i will make this My day!
My best friend called me this morning. She ran a PB. A personal Best in her 3 k run early this morning at 9 am up on the Bronxish side of town. i really had set my mind to go and see her...but last night i stayed up working till 2 am and needed to be out of the house for 7am to make it to her heat. Clearly I didn't make it. She wasn't upset because she didn't expect anyone to be there that early... I am meeting her in a bit along with some other runners of the McGill track team. They are already leaving this afternoon. I'm not too sad considering I will get to see all my friends in 3 days time! YEY
