This morning I woke up expecting rain, but this day has turned out to be one of the most beautiful days in a long time. I truly thought the temperature was going down hill from now, but I guess mother nature has some surprises in store for us. I just hope ( wishful thinking) that it will be nice on mybirthday...It is in October. All I want is no snow and no rain!. That would be ideal. I'm not sure if I will stay in NYC for my birthday or go home. What I really want ..really really is to go away! But we all know I am dreaming when I think of myself on the beach. Talking about beach I really would of liked to go tomorrow since it will be extremely hot here in NYC. But instead I will be indoors studying like a manic for my anatomy exam on Tuesday. I really hope I do excellent. I mean the professor gave us all the questions that will be on the exam so it should be ok...but there are over 150 questions plus diagrams.!!! But I'm confident I am starting to study tomorrow and will pretend the exam is Monday afternoon so I get read before! I sure hope my brain will be up for it! I just feel like I need to empty it out and start packing things in it! Oh! and lets not forget my essay! yes my serial killer essay! that will take up all my Sunday! Ouff! now this is what I call a fun filled weekend :) ha

Waiting....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDHX7r2zsas
OH I have been listening to this song since last Saturday non stop! I love it...makes me think of my situation:) And Dash Berlin (the artist) was in Montreal last weekend! Oh well I'm not too sad because all of the artist that I love will be here in the Big Apple Labor day weekend for the Zoo. Yes! the zoo, the Electric Zoo! I sure hope some friends of mine do come or at least my little sister will come with me for a day. Electric zoo is a two day event at Randall island and people from all across the world will attend this huge event. I recall last year my dad was kind enough to buy me and my sister a ticket but my sister was moving that day and left me in the middle of a zoo! literally! all these crazy people! But I did meet some friends and the night ended up to be unforgettable! Hopefully this year I will go and with friends. We shall see. I do not want to waste my money on stupidities anymore. I'm thinking of next year; Graduation! I'm so excited my life will change dramatically. I want to go back home and pursue my masters and get a car! I simply cannot wait for next summer/fall. I hope this winter will be kind to us!

Bad Seed....
The Bad Seed is definitely has its connections to serial killings. Rhoda, is a typical serial killer in my opinion. She is a perfectionist, very organized, clean and extremely smart. Rhoda, as seen in the movie is a great little actress/ liar and can make you believe anything with her good and cute matters. A serial killer by definition is a person who murders three or more people over a period of more than 30 days, with a "cooling off" period between each murder and as we saw in the movie, Rhoda does just that. It all starts when Claude Daigle, drowns in a lake while at a school picnic, and all evidence is pointing to the "perfect" little girl. To the viewers that is her first murder, but as the story goes we discover along with her mother that this isn't her first murder. A few years back she killed a neighbour just to get a crystal ball. A few days after her murder we witness that she kills the gardener as well by setting a fire on purpose. Her motives for killing are strictly selfish and self sufficient just like serial killers.. Now, what is different from this movie when I compare it to the others is that the murderer is a young female that comes from a good family with no particular child trauma. As for the other movies we watched the murderer always has some kind of troubled past that somehow “justifies” his addictions and killings. In the Bad Seed, the author tries to tell us that her serial killer trait is actually not because of troublesome past or trauma but rather DNA.
Week 7...Do not panic....
So here we are week 7! this weekend was rather boring for me and I would of wished to be in MTL. If I ever had to be in MTL it would of been this weekend. I think there were 10 artists from Super Tab and 8, W&W, Leon Boiler, Above and Beyond and then some at this big Festival on the beach. The festivities started on Friday and ended last night. On a good note as bored and annoyed I was this weekend, I was able to accomplish a lot of school work! So I am proud and happy of myself! by tomorrow morning Ill be back on track and even ahead of everything.
Later this week I will try to look for rates of Internet because now I cannot connect to my neighbours hahaha. And I am fed up of being at Starbucks coffee till ten at night especially when it is raining!Talking about rain I love looveeeeeee rainy days! Love to watch movies and eat candies in bed lol. But we know I cannot do that considering I have so much to do....I feel the stress level kicking in soon!

Blah Day....
It was about 8:25 when I arrived to work at school this morning. No one was here, not a soul! In fact the door to academics was even locked! Goes to show my point on opening hat 30 min early:) I am a bit tired considering last night I go home a bit later than usual. WE had a staff outing to Manhattan. It was a lot of fun. We ate and ate and ate and snapped pictures. It was good times. Felt good to see everyone other than in a work environment. I am so glad the school is not below -10 degrees this morning! I even made sure to tell the guy in charge to put the temperature up a few degrees. I found it so much harder to concentrate when you are literally shivering from head to toe.
Yesterday, I got in contact with a classmate of mine from primary grade 2! I was in Hungary back in the day and we found each other. She is now an actress! I remembered her face from pictures but couldn't point out who she clearly was until she spoke to me in Hungarian and recalled my 2nd grade teachers name at the time! Aniko neni it was...good but blurry memories. I was so young....

Good day....
So today I woke up and got to work for noon. I was sooooooo lazy and didn't even do my hair. I find myself in such a lazy mood these days. It fells like the energy is literally sucked out of me! But tomorrow all the student workers are going out, therefore I will make an effort to fix myself. It'll do me good as well. We are all going to Apple bee's. Should be fun. God I really wish I had a gym here in NYC.
I really want to train other than in my apartment with my silly exercises. Or at least run! Running is the best thing to tone up your body especially your lower body which would be my problem area! The THIGHS! Nightmare of all woman...lol Ne how all i know is it is unsecured to run alone here..well at least I wouldn't feel comfortable around my area! :( So ill just stick to what I'm doing...

Zombie....Interesting Read
So Ill use this blog to write a review about the book I read by Joyce Carol Oates called Zombie.
Freakishly intriguing is how I would describe this book. I absolutely loved that this book was narrated by the mentally deranged Quentin P. Throughout the book we followed in detail Q_P's thoughts and plans as he reminisces about the trial where he was convicted of molestation of a minor, as he finds his next victim and so on. This short novel wasn't a smooth read for me and was actually very confusing because Quentin jumps around to different events in his past that have led him to where he is. Quentin became a caretaker as a result of his parents. Interestingly and ironically his father, is a respected university professor. No one would think that his son could be as deranged and sick as Q_P is. At least not myself. He briefly considers taking a few of the students living there, but realises that it would be way too obvious; it would get him caught in a second. This somewhat demonstrates that he is smart and prudent. His poor grandmother dotes on him, giving him odd jobs around her house and paying him too well for them. Yet again he demonstrates some level of IQ by doing so because his grandmother becomes a sort of a witness. Unfortunately, that trust will not help Quentin change as she hopes; instead it will help him to continue with his sick "hobbies". His fascination and killing pattern is unusual where he wants to make zombies out of his victims so that they won't flee from him, screaming, and get him caught, like the first boy did. Also this chilling novel has way too many "&" which were interrupting my flow of lecture. Overall a good book.
